| Sobek, c’est un jeu de cartes à l’allemande, bien classique, un « set collection game » simple et rapide, dans la lignée de Coloretto, Reibach and Co et quelques autres. Même le thème semble avoir été choisi pour son classicisme – les cartes représentent des marchandises, poisson, blé, ivoire ou métal, et l’Egypte n’est qu’un prétexte à jolis dessins. Mais, bon, ça marche très bien, ça demande parfois des choix cornéliens, c’est très joliment illustré, et on en redemande.

Sobek is a typical German style card game, a light and fast paced set collection game akin with Coloretto or Reibach and Co. Even the setting is deliberately unoriginal – cards represent various goods, such as fish, wheat, ivory or gold, and the Egyptian theme is only a pretext for some nice graphics. Anyway, it works really well, it involves some difficult choices, it’s really cute, and it’s easy to play a few games in a row.
