ni conserver les illustrations, pourtant très réussies,
de Die Tafelrunde, ni faire appel une fois encore au talentueux
Emmanuel Roudier, qui avait déjà illustré
mes deux autres Blue Game médiévaux, Castel et L'Or
des Dragons. C'est donc moi qui ai glissé au maquettiste
de Descartes le nom demon ami Julien Delval, l'un des illustrateurs
de mon Citadelles. Julien était en effet tout qualifié
pour illustrer Draco and Co, puisqu'il connaissait bien le jeu,
ayant participé à la toute première partie
test de ce qui s'appelait encore La Table Ronde. Le résultat
est largement à la hauteur de nos espérances - j'aime
notamment beaucoup les cartes personnages et les cartes repaires. |
The Descartes
/ Eurogames team did not want to keep the very good graphics from
Die Tafelrunde, and did not want to call once more the talentuous
Emmanuel Roudier, who had already illustrated my two other mediaeval
Blue Games, Castle and Dragon's Gold - not that they had any reproach
to make him, they just wanted to change. I suggested my friend
Julien Delval, one of the illustrators of Citadels. Julien was
certainly the right man in the right place: he is a very talentuous
fantasy artist, and he already knew the game, since he had taken
part in the very first test game . As usual, his paintings are
gorgeous - I most like the characters and the repairs. |
